I’ll Post something again soon

I was hoping to get that post about mirror neurons up today. Now that I sorted the bulk of Have-to-do’s out of the way.

Alas I find myself having to deal with police and insurance. My beloved old bomb, held together with chewing gum and rubber bands was stolen. Beautifully bonked in the Sydney hail storm of 1998, that added some water to the dash so it’s a mystery how the dash still managed to function. When it rained it was often as wet inside as outside. And the huge spiders that like to inhabit it added an interesting experience to driving.

I love that car. It travelled well over 1 million Kilometres being an ex-taxi. For what it lacked in beauty it made up for in transport. It always started without a worry. Got me where I needed. Costed little on maintenance and repair. When it did need maintenance the parts were easy to replace and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. So for me the few rust spots took a little to repair and a touch up paint. It didn’t matter that some of the original panels were faded to a different shade. The seats were torn but that’s okay, it’s just was sad to look at. The dash had cracks that added a character of tell tale time in the sun. The saddest part is even with the insurance, replacing that car is going to cost me more than that gem had costed me in maintenance.

Don’t worry, I’ll get back on track to posting the stuff that you really want to read. Just thought I’d explain why there is no post.
