Working on a course for PhotoReading on the Computer

Posted in: PhotoRead, Photoreading, Studying, learning, priority |

I’ve been working on developing  a course for using PhotoReading on the computer. Actually drawing up the plan and developing course material. It will be a 3 hour stand alone class suitable for students and researchers and anyone else who wants to make better use of their time at the computer. Unfortunately there isn’t enough time in a regular class to incorporate actually using the system on a computer screen. And there is a lot of useful information for non PhotoReaders as well.

While the book gives an overview on how to use PhotoReading on the computer. This course will take it a whole lot further.

A lot of the strategies would even benefit people who want to use their time at a computer more effectively. Not just PhotoReaders.

If anyone is curious to see me in action using my system to clear 400 news items from my RSS feed in Feedreader follow this link. I warn you it’s 10 minutes long, no sound. I use a couple of techniques within. You see me using PhotoReading webpages in Firefox in the last 2 or so minutes. You need to know what RSS feeds are or the video would make no sense for you.

I hope to announce the class on my website in October or November. Check my schedule for classes if you are interested.
